Translation

Know that every single step is death for the person of impure mind, travelling on the uneven path of sense objects. Success is certain for the person guided by the word of a benevolent guru and by his own reason.

Annotation

1) A person of impure mind gets trapped at every step while travelling on the path of sense objects and loses the ability for discrimination. 2) ‘Death’ – is figuratively used to refer to such inability to realise one’s Self (Jagadguru).
