Translation

Learned disciple! Listen attentively to what I say. By listening to that you will instantly get released from the bondage of birth.

Annotation

In verse 49 the student had asked as to what bondage was, how it had come, how it gets established and how to get freed from that. The teacher tells about release from bondage first. It is important to free a person from bondage before analysing the cause of bondage. When a house is on fire it is the immediate need to douse it with water and put off the fire instead of investigating into the cause of fire and where it has come from (Jagadguru).
