Shloka

घटे नष्टे यथा व्योम व्योमैव भवति स्फुटम् ।तथैवोपाधिविलये ब्रह्मैव ब्रह्मवित्स्वयम् ॥ ५६६ ॥

ghaṭe naṣṭe yathā vyoma vyomaiva bhavati sphuṭam ;tathaivopādhivilaye brahmaiva brahmavitsvayam . 566 .

विलक्षणंvilakṣaṇaṃ
which is distinct (from sun–light)
लीयतेlīyate

भानु–तेजसिbhānu–tejasi
in the sun–light

सकलं दृश्यंsakalaṃ dṛśyaṃ
the whole phenomenal universe
प्रविलीयतेpravilīyate

in Brahman

Translation

When the pot breaks, the pot–space remains clearly as the space only. Similarly, on the negation of the delimiting adjuncts (body–mind–complex), the knower of Brahman remains as Brahman.
