Shloka

सदात्मनि ब्रह्मणि तिष्ठतो मुनेः
पूर्णाद्वयानन्दमयात्मना सदा ।
न देशकालाद्युचितप्रतीक्षा
त्वङ्मांसविट्पिण्डविसर्जनाय ॥ ५५८ ॥

sadātmani brahmaṇi tiṣṭhato muneḥ
pūrṇādvayānandamayātmanā sadā ;
na deśakālādyucitapratīkṣā
tvaṅmāṃsaviṭpiṇḍavisarjanāya . 558 .

Anvaya

विशीर्णं पर्णं इवviśīrṇaṃ parṇaṃ iva
Like the dried leaf
तरोःtaroḥ
of a tree
यत्र क्व अपिyatra kva api
(fallen) somewhere
यतेः वपुःyateḥ vapuḥ
the body of a realised person
ब्रह्मीभूतस्यbrahmībhūtasya
who has become Brahman
पतनात् प्राक् एव हिpatanāt prāk eva hi
because, even before its fall
तत्tat
that
चित्–अग्निना दग्धम्cit–agninā dagdham
is burnt by the fire of knowledge

Translation

For the sage abiding in Brahman as pure existence and as the infinite non–dual blissful Self, there is no waiting (consideration) for an appropriate place, time etc., to discard the body which is a mere lump of skin, flesh and excreta.

Annotation

People tend to choose a holy place or an auspicious time to die. A realised person has no such expectations.
