stays
अहि–निर्ल्वयनी इवahi–nirlvayanī iva
like the slough which has been cast off by the snake

Translation

Just as a log gets drifted by the river in all uneven places, similarly the body of the realised person is conducted by the prārabdha–karma in its several bodily needs.

Annotation

The realised person stays merely as an observer.
