Translation

Driven by the impressions of the prārabdha–karma, the realised person moves in the world like any ordinary person in all bodily experiences. He himself stays merely like a witness to all bodily actions, devoid of any differentiation, like the base of the potter’s wheel.

Annotation

It may be recalled that the accumulated karma of previous births (sañcita–karma) gets destroyed in the case of a realised person. Actions done after realisation do not bear fruit. However, the karma causative for the present life remains, offering various experiences.
