Shloka

निर्धनोऽपि सदा तुष्टोऽप्यसहायो महाबलः ।नित्यतृप्तोऽप्यभुञ्जानोऽप्यसमः समदर्शनः ॥ ५४४ ॥

nirdhano’pi sadā tuṣṭo’pyasahāyo mahābalaḥ ;nityatṛpto’pyabhuñjāno’pyasamaḥ samadarśanaḥ . 544 .

Anvaya

क्वचित् मूढःkvacit mūḍhaḥ
As a fool at some places
विद्वान् क्वचित् अपिvidvān kvacit api
as a scholar at some places
महाराज–विभवः क्वचित्mahārāja–vibhavaḥ kvacit
with the glory of an emperor at some places
भ्रान्तःbhrāntaḥ
as a deluded person
सौम्यःsaumyaḥ
as a gentle one
क्वचित् अजगर–आचार–कलितःkvacit ajagara–ācāra–kalitaḥ
surviving like a python on whatever food is available in front
क्वचित् पात्रीभूतःkvacit pātrībhūtaḥ
honored in some places
क्वचित् अवमतःkvacit avamataḥ
dishonored in some places
क्व अपि अविदितःkva api aviditaḥ
unknown in some places
प्राज्ञःprājñaḥ
the realised person
सतत–परम्–आनन्द–सुखितःsatata–param–ānanda–sukhitaḥ
always enjoying the Supreme Bliss
एवं चरतिevaṃ carati
moves thus

Translation

Though poor, he is always contented. Though helpless, he is strong. Though without food (not enjoying sense objects), he is always satiated. Though unequalled (because of his realised state, he sees everyone equally.

The quality of samadarśitvam described in the Gita (5–18) is mentioned in the verse.
