Shloka

अपि कुर्वन्नकुर्वाणश्चाभोक्ता फलभोग्यपि ।शरीर्यप्यशरीर्येष परिच्छिन्नोऽपि सर्वगः ॥ ५४५ ॥

api kurvannakurvāṇaścābhoktā phalabhogyapi ;śarīryapyaśarīryeṣa paricchinno’pi sarvagaḥ . 545 .

Anvaya

निर्धनः अपिnirdhanaḥ api
Though poor
सदा तुष्टःsadā tuṣṭaḥ
always contented
असाहयः अपिasāhayaḥ api
though without assistance
महा–बलःmahā–balaḥ
strong one
अभुञ्जानः अपिabhuñjānaḥ api
though without food
नित्य–तृप्तःnitya–tṛptaḥ
always satiated
असमः अपिasamaḥ api
though unequalled
सम–दर्शनःsama–darśanaḥ
sees everyone equally (sees Brahman in all)

Translation

He is not the doer though performing karma not the enjoyer though enjoying the fruit of it body–less though having a body and though delimited he is all–pervading.

Annotation

The expression ‘body–less’ means that the realised person has no sense of identification with the body–mind–complex.
