Translation

For a person who has realised the nature of self, for the one who is relishing the nectar of the bliss of the Self, there is no greater source of happiness apart from staying in pure awareness free from all latent tendencies.

Annotation

Eradication of latent tendencies, vāsanā–kṣaya, is an important pre–requisite for knowledge. Sage Vidyaranya has elaborated this in an exclusive chapter in his text Jivanmukti Viveka.
