Translation

I have no bondage with the body, like the sky has no bondage with the cloud. Hence how can I have its attributes – the stages of waking, dream and deep sleep?

Annotation

The body is the product of the three guṇa–s. The realised person has transcended the three guṇa–s. He is the witness for the three stages.
