Shloka

नाहमिदं नाहमदोऽप्युभयोरवभासकं परं शुद्धम् ।बाह्याभ्यन्तरशून्यं पूर्णं ब्रह्माद्वितीयमेवाहम् ॥ ४९३ ॥

nāhamidaṃ nāhamado’pyubhayoravabhāsakaṃ paraṃ śuddham ;bāhyābhyantaraśūnyaṃ pūrṇaṃ brahmādvitīyamevāham . 493 .

Translation

I am not this (known by senses) and also not that (unseen by senses, heaven etc). I am the knower of both. I am the supreme, pure and devoid of distinction of inside and outside. I am indeed the infinite non–dual Brahman.

Annotation

The realised person is free from all limiting adjuncts (upādhi–s). As he is beyond the three–fold limitations (see glossary), there cannot be any talk of inside and outside in such infinite nature. The idea of inside and outside is only with reference to the body–mind–complex and not with reference to Atman (Jagadguru).
