Shloka

अकर्ताहमभोक्ताहमविकारोऽहमक्रियः ।शुद्धबोधस्वरूपोऽहं केवलोऽहं सदाशिवः ॥ ४९१ ॥

akartāhamabhoktāhamavikāro’hamakriyaḥ ;śuddhabodhasvarūpo’haṃ kevalo’haṃ sadāśivaḥ . 491 .

Anvaya

अहम् असङ्गःaham asaṅgaḥ
I am free from all bondages
अहम् अनङ्गःaham anaṅgaḥ
I am part–less (infinite)
अहम् अलिङ्गःaham aliṅgaḥ
I have no identity (of varṇa, āśrama etc)
अभङ्गुरःabhaṅguraḥ
non–ephemeral
प्रशान्तःpraśāntaḥ
attained tranquility
अहम् अनन्तःaham anantaḥ
I am infinite
अहम् अतान्तःaham atāntaḥ
I am tireless
अहम् चिरन्तनःaham cirantanaḥ
I am the eternal

Translation

I am neither the doer nor the enjoyer. I am changeless, action–less and I am of the nature of pure consciousness. I am one alone, always auspicious in nature.

Annotation

There is no karma for realised person. The karma he performs after realisation becomes akarma, non–action, as we see in the Gita. The fruit of such action does not affect him.
