Shloka

इति गुरुवचनाच्छ्रुतिप्रमाणा -
त्परमवगम्य सतत्त्वमात्मयुक्त्या ।
प्रशमितकरणः समाहितात्मा
क्वचिदचलाकृतिरात्मनिष्ठितोऽभूत् ॥ ४८० ॥

iti guruvacanācchrutipramāṇā -
tparamavagamya satattvamātmayuktyā ;
praśamitakaraṇaḥ samāhitātmā
kvacidacalākṛtirātmaniṣṭhito’bhūt . 480 .

Anvaya

एषाeṣā
This
वेदान्त–सिद्धान्त–निरुक्तिःvedānta–siddhānta–niruktiḥ
is the epitome of the doctrine of Vedanta
जीवःjīvaḥ
the jiva
ब्रह्म एवbrahma eva
is Brahman only
सकलं जगत् चsakalaṃ jagat ca
and also the whole universe (is Brahman)
अखण्ड–रूप–स्थितिःakhaṇḍa–rūpa–sthitiḥ
Abiding as the impartite Brahman form
एव मोक्षःeva mokṣaḥ
is liberation

Translation

Thus, by the teaching of the guru, by the strength of the scripture and by his own contemplation the student realised the Supreme Reality. His senses are fully withdrawn (from external objects) and his mind is fully restrained. He stays in some solitary place, in unruffled form, abiding in Atman.

Annotation

The word ‘ātma–yukti’ denotes reasoning, known as mananam. Or, the word may refer to the practice of yoga in which all the thoughts are restrained (Jagadguru).
