Translation
Bondage, liberation, contentment, anxiety, health, hunger etc., are known to one self (and not to others). What is known (felt) by others is only known through inference.
Annotation
In knowing the experience of others our inferential knowledge is not immediate but mediate. Hence if the indication (hetu) seen by us is incorrect, our inference can be incorrect (Jagadguru). Whether a person is a realised one or not is merely inferred by us through the person’s external behavior.
