न हि प्रबुद्धः प्रतिभासदेहे
देहोपयोगिन्यपि च प्रपञ्चे ।
करोत्यहन्तां ममतामिदन्तां
किं तु स्वयं तिष्ठति जागरेण ॥ ४५६ ॥

na hi prabuddhaḥ pratibhāsadehe
dehopayoginyapi ca prapañce ;
karotyahantāṃ mamatāmidantāṃ
kiṃ tu svayaṃ tiṣṭhati jāgareṇa . 456 .

Anvaya

मुनेःmuneḥ
For the realised person
आत्मनि तिष्टतःātmani tiṣṭataḥ
staying in one’s self
उपाधि–तादात्म्य–विहीन–केवल–ब्रह्मात्मना एवupādhi–tādātmya–vihīna–kevala–brahmātmanā eva
as Brahman alone, devoid of identification with the limiting adjunct (body–mind–complex)
प्रारब्ध–सद्भाव–कथाprārabdha–sadbhāva–kathā
the talk of existence of prārabdham
न युक्ताna yuktā
is not right
स्वप्न–अर्थ–सम्बन्ध–कथा इवsvapna–artha–sambandha–kathā iva
like the talk of an object experienced in dream
जाग्रतःjāgrataḥ
for a waking person
