कल्पार्णव इवात्यन्तपरिपूर्णैकवस्तुनि ।निर्विकारे निराकारे निर्विशेषे भिदा कुतः ॥ ४०२ ॥

kalpārṇava ivātyantaparipūrṇaikavastuni ;nirvikāre nirākāre nirviśeṣe bhidā kutaḥ . 402 .

Translation

How can duality exist in the lone entity, comparable to the ocean at the time of deluge, which is completely full (infinite) and which is the unchanging, formless one devoid of attributes?

Annotation

Purana–s describe how the oceans completely submerge the earth at the time of deluge. All the oceans become one. The oneness of Brahman is explained thus (Jagadguru).
