Translation

How can duality exist in the lone entity, devoid of divisions like the knower, knowledge, known etc and in the unchanging, formless one devoid of attributes?

Annotation

The division such as knower, known etc., disappears on realisation of oneness with the infinite Brahman. When a person is in the position of infinite he does not see any difference, as the scripture (Br.Up.4–4–15) says (Jagadguru). The division such as knower, knowledge and known is possible in delimited objects in which one is the knower, the other is known and so on. This is called the triad (tripuṭi) of knowledge.
