Translation

This conception of plurality, such as the universe, is as good as unreal. How can there be the plurality in one entity which is unchanging, formless and without attributes?

Annotation

‘vikalpa’ – etymologically means ‘visualised diversely’. For someone established in the highest level of realisation, the world does not appear. The world continues to appear until realisation. Hence it is called ‘as good as unreal’ (Jagadguru).
