स्वात्मन्यारोपिताशेषाभासवस्तुनिरासतः ।स्वयमेव परं ब्रह्म पूर्णमद्वयमक्रियम् ॥ ३९८ ॥

svātmanyāropitāśeṣābhāsavastunirāsataḥ ;svayameva paraṃ brahma pūrṇamadvayamakriyam . 398 .

Anvaya

निरासतःnirāsataḥ
By negating
आरोपित–अशेष–आभास–वस्तुāropita–aśeṣa–ābhāsa–vastu
the host of phenomenal objects wrongly superimposed
स्व–आत्मनिsva–ātmani
in one’s self
स्वयम् एवsvayam eva
the self itself
परम् ब्रह्मparam brahma
is the Supreme Brahman
पूर्णंpūrṇaṃ
infinite
अद्वयम्advayam

Translation

By negating the host of phenomenal objects wrongly superimposed on the self, the seeker stays as the Supreme Brahman, infinite, non–dual and actionless.

Annotation

‘Phenomenal objects’ – Various properties superimposed by nescience. Their negation is by following scripture, logic and contemplation (Jagadguru).
