Shloka

तरङ्गफेनभ्रमबुद्बुदादि सर्वं स्वरूपेण जलं यथा तथा ।चिदेव देहाद्यहमन्तमेतत्सर्वं चिदेवैकरसं विशुद्धम् ॥ ३९१ ॥

taraṅgaphenabhramabudbudādi sarvaṃ svarūpeṇa jalaṃ yathā tathā ;cideva dehādyahamantametatsarvaṃ cidevaikarasaṃ viśuddham . 391 .

Translation

Just as all forms such as a wave, foam, whirlpool, bubble etc., are in reality water alone, likewise all this – starting from the body up to the ego – is pure, homogeneous consciousness alone.

Annotation

The Kathopanishad says – ‘all this shines after Brahman’. It means that consciousness is what illumines all and that all that is seen is a phenomenon in that consciousness.
