Translation

These three (removal of veil, disappearance of superimposition and removal of sorrow) are seen by the right knowledge of the rope. Hence an intelligent seeker has to know the reality in order to attain freedom from bondage (of transmigration).

Annotation

‘Veiling’ in the case of rope is not knowing that it is a rope. Superimposition of snake happens and this results in fear. The knowledge of a rope removes all these three.
