आवरणस्य निवृत्तिर्भवति च सम्यक्पदार्थदर्शनतः ।मिथ्याज्ञानविनाशस्तद्वद्विक्षेपजनितदुःखनिवृत्तिः ॥ ३४८ ॥

āvaraṇasya nivṛttirbhavati ca samyakpadārthadarśanataḥ ;mithyājñānavināśastadvadvikṣepajanitaduḥkhanivṛttiḥ . 348 .

Anvaya

आवरणस्य निवृत्तिःāvaraṇasya nivṛttiḥ
The removal of veiling power
भवति चbhavati ca
happens
सम्यक्–पदार्थ–दर्शनतःsamyak–padārtha–darśanataḥ
by the clear vision of reality
तद्–वत्tad–vat
likewise
मिथ्या–ज्ञान–विनाशःmithyā–jñāna–vināśaḥ
the disppearnace of false knowledge
विक्षेप–जनित–दुःख–निवृत्तिःvikṣepa–janita–duḥkha–nivṛttiḥ
and freedom from sorrow arising from the power projection

Translation

The removal of veiling power happens with the clear vision of reality. False knowledge (superimposition) disappears likewise, resulting in freedom from sorrow arising from the power of projection.

Annotation

1) The veiling power is the cause for identification with the delimited self. 2) When the veiling power disappears, the projecting power – which is the cause for mental modes such as desire, anger, greed, jealousy etc – too disappears. 3) The consequence is freedom from sorrow.
