Translation

Right knowledge, arising from a clear understanding due to division of the knower from the known, destroys the bondage of delusion created by māyā. There is no transmigration again for a person who is released from that bondage.

Annotation

‘Clear understanding’ – refers to the understanding of the exalted statements (mahā–vākya) of the scriptures by the grace of the guru. ‘Right discrimination’ is the realisation that ‘Brahman alone is real and the world has relative existence’. ‘No transmigration’ is because a realised person will never again pursue the unreal objects (Jagadguru).
