Translation

There is no liberation for a person identifying with the body–mind–complex and for the liberated person there is no such identification. There is no wakefulness for a sleeping person and there is no dream one who is awake – as those two (dream and wakefulness) possess different properties.

Annotation

Identification with the body–mind–complex on one hand and realisation on the other do not co–exist in the same person at the same time (Jagadguru).
