Translation

Just as the moss which has been removed (from the surface of water) does not keep quiet even for a short while but covers it again, Likewise, nescience shrouds the mind of even a realised person when he is inattentive.

Annotation

‘A realised person’ is a person who has resolved the five sheaths by viveka. ‘Shrouds the mind’ means that the awareness of Brahman withdraws from the mind (Jagadguru).
