Shloka

सद्वासनास्फूर्तिविजृम्भणे सति
ह्यसौ विलीना त्वहमादिवासना ।
अतिप्रकृष्टाप्यरुणप्रभायां
विलीयते साधु यथा तमिस्रा ॥ ३१९ ॥

sadvāsanāsphūrtivijṛmbhaṇe sati
hyasau vilīnā tvahamādivāsanā ;
atiprakṛṣṭāpyaruṇaprabhāyāṃ
vilīyate sādhu yathā tamisrā . 319 .

Anvaya

तुtu
On the other hand
सद्–वासना–स्फूर्ति–विजृम्भणे सतिsad–vāsanā–sphūrti–vijṛmbhaṇe sati
when the blooming (manifestation) of the impressions relating to Brahman increases
हिhi
surely
असौasau
that
अहम्–आदि–वासनाaham–ādi–vāsanā
the impressions relating to ego etc
विलीनाvilīnā
completely disappears
यथा तमिस्राyathā tamisrā
just as darkness
अति–प्रकृष्टा अपिati–prakṛṣṭā api
though highly intense
साधु विलीयतेsādhu vilīyate
very well resolves
अरुण–प्रभायाम्aruṇa–prabhāyām
in the brightness of dawn

Translation

On the other hand, the impression relating to ego disappear completely when the blooming (manifestation) of the impressions relating to Brahman get strengthened. It is like the darkness, though intense, completely resolving in the brightness of dawn.

Annotation

‘The blooming of impressions relating to Brahman’ – happen in a mind purified by the three–tier process of understanding, logical validation and internalisation (Jagadguru).
