Shloka

सदैकरूपस्य चिदात्मनो विभो -
रानन्दमूर्तेरनवद्यकीर्तेः ।
नैवान्यथा क्वाप्यविकारिणस्ते
विनाहमध्यासममुष्य संसृतिः ॥ ३०७ ॥

sadaikarūpasya cidātmano vibho -
rānandamūrteranavadyakīrteḥ ;
naivānyathā kvāpyavikāriṇaste
vināhamadhyāsamamuṣya saṃsṛtiḥ . 307 .

Anvaya

विना अमुष्यvinā amuṣya

अहम्–अध्यासम्aham–adhyāsam
superimposition of ego
तेte
to you
सदा एक–रूपस्यsadā eka–rūpasya
who are always unchanging in nature
चिद्–आत्मनःcid–ātmanaḥ
of the nature of consciousness
विभोःvibhoḥ
all–pervading
आनन्द–मूर्तेःānanda–mūrteḥ
the blissful Self
अनवद्य–कीर्तेःanavadya–kīrteḥ
immaculate in fame
अविकारिणःavikāriṇaḥ
to the immutable one
न एवna eva
never
अन्यथाanyathā
otherwise
क्व अपिkva api
anywhere
संसृतिःsaṃsṛtiḥ
transmigration

Translation

To you – who are always changeless, of the nature of consciousness, all–pervading, the blissful Self of immaculate fame and the immutable one – this transmigration would not otherwise arise but for the superimposition of the ego.

Annotation

Because of the superimposition of the ego the Atman is appearing as diverse, insentient, delimited, troubled and lowly (Jagadguru).
