Shloka

अहङ्कर्तर्यस्मिन्नहमिति मतिं मुञ्च सहसा
विकारात्मन्यात्मप्रतिफलजुषि स्वस्थितिमुषि ।
यदध्यासात्प्राप्ता जनिमृतिजरा दुःखबहुला
प्रतीचश्चिन्मूर्तेस्तव सुखतनोः संसृतिरियम् ॥ ३०६ ॥

ahaṅkartaryasminnahamiti matiṃ muñca sahasā
vikārātmanyātmapratiphalajuṣi svasthitimuṣi ;
yadadhyāsātprāptā janimṛtijarā duḥkhabahulā
pratīcaścinmūrtestava sukhatanoḥ saṃsṛtiriyam . 306 .

स्व–स्थिति–मुषिsva–sthiti–muṣi
which is the stealer of your real nature
यद्yad
that in which
संसृतिः इयम्saṃsṛtiḥ iyam
the transmigration
अध्यासात् प्राप्ताadhyāsāt prāptā
got as a result of superimposition
जनि–मृति–जरा–दुःख–बहुलाjani–mṛti–jarā–duḥkha–bahulā
full of sorrows such as birth, death and old age
प्रतीचःpratīcaḥ
for the innermost Self
चिन्मूर्त्तेःcinmūrtteḥ
pure consciousness
तवtava
to you
सुख–तनोःsukha–tanoḥ
who are blissful in nature

Translation

Immediately give up the notion of identification in this ego, which is changing in nature and which is a mere reflector of consciousness. It is the thief of your real nature. By superimposition, it brings you – the innermost Self, of the nature of consciousness and bliss – this transmigration which is full of sorrows such as birth, death and old age.

Annotation

‘The stealer of your nature’ – because of the superimposition of attributes, the ego conceals the real nature of the Self which is the innermost Self (sat), consciousness and bliss. Thus a person falls from his real nature (Jagadguru).
