Translation
Give up the sense of identification in (this) mass of flesh and in the ego sense, which is the creation of intellect as they are changing in nature. Having known yourself as that which is not negated in past, present and future and as homogenous (undifferentiated as knower and known) consciousness, attain complete elimination of strife.
Annotation
śānti – is a state in which there is complete eradication of sorrow or strife (Jagadguru). ‘akhaṇḍa–bodha’ – is the undifferentiated consciousness. In delimited consciousness there is a differentiation of knower and known. In the eternal Atman there is no such differentiation.
