Shloka

चिदात्मनि सदानन्दे देहारूढामहन्धियम् ।निवेश्य लिङ्गमुत्सृज्य केवलो भव सर्वदा ॥ २९१ ॥

cidātmani sadānande dehārūḍhāmahandhiyam ;niveśya liṅgamutsṛjya kevalo bhava sarvadā . 291 .

निवेश्यniveśya

अहं–धियम्ahaṃ–dhiyam
the notion of ego
देह–आरूढाम्deha–ārūḍhām
existing in the body
चिद्–आत्मनिcid–ātmani
in the Supreme consciousness
सदा–आनन्देsadā–ānande
which is of the nature of eternal bliss
लिङ्गम् उत्सृज्यliṅgam utsṛjya
having rejected identification with the subtle body
केवलः भवkevalaḥ bhava

Translation

Having positioned the notion of ego, at present resting in the body, in the Supreme consciousness–bliss and having rejected identification with the subtle body, remain, always, as the only One.

Annotation

kevala – refers to Brahman which is devoid of differentiation – with an object of its own class, with an object of another class or internal division.
