Shloka

ज्ञात्वा स्वं प्रत्यगात्मानं बुद्धितद्वृत्तिसाक्षिणम् ।सोऽहमित्येव सद्वृत्त्यानात्मन्यात्ममतिं जहि ॥ २७० ॥

jñātvā svaṃ pratyagātmānaṃ buddhitadvṛttisākṣiṇam ;so’hamityeva sadvṛttyānātmanyātmamatiṃ jahi . 270 .

Anvaya

ज्ञात्वा स्वंjñātvā svaṃ
Knowing yourself
प्रत्यग् आत्मानंpratyag ātmānaṃ
as the innermost Self
बुद्धि–तद्–वृत्ति–साक्षिणम्buddhi–tad–vṛtti–sākṣiṇam
which is the witness for the intellect and its modifications
सः अहम्saḥ aham
I am That
इति एवiti eva
in such manner
सद्–वृत्त्याsad–vṛttyā
awareness of being the immutable sat
जहिjahi
give up
आत्म–मतिंātma–matiṃ
the notion of self
अनात्मनिanātmani
in the non–atman

Translation

Knowing yourself as the innermost Self, which is the witness for the intellect and its modifications and by abiding in the idea, “I am that”, eradicate the notion of self in the non–atman (the body–mind–complex).
