स्वं बोधमात्रं परिशुद्धतत्त्वं
विज्ञाय सङ्घे नृपवच्च सैन्ये ।
तदात्मनैवात्मनि सर्वदा स्थितो
विलापय ब्रह्मणि दृश्यजातम् ॥ २६६ ॥

svaṃ bodhamātraṃ pariśuddhatattvaṃ
vijñāya saṅghe nṛpavacca sainye ;
tadātmanaivātmani sarvadā sthito
vilāpaya brahmaṇi dṛśyajātam . 266 .

Translation

Having realised your Self as of the nature of pure consciousness unaffected by any other – in the group of body–mind–complex, like one identifies the king in the midst of an army – abide in It at all times. The whole universe has to be resolved in that Brahman.

Annotation

1) sambodha–mātraṃ – It is the knower and illuminer of all. 2) ‘Unaffected’ – means that it has no connection with the universe, which is an appearance. 3) vilāpaya – The process of resolution is the process of resolving the effect into the cause. The effect is seen as not different from the cause. The five elements have to be resolved into the cosmic principle Hiranyagarbha, and Hiranyagarbha into māyā and māyā in Brahman (Jagadguru).
