Shloka

उक्तमर्थमिममात्मनि स्वयं
भावय प्रथितयुक्तिभिर्धिया ।
संशयादिरहितं कराम्बुव -
त्तेन तत्त्वनिगमो भविष्यति ॥ २६५ ॥

uktamarthamimamātmani svayaṃ
bhāvaya prathitayuktibhirdhiyā ;
saṃśayādirahitaṃ karāmbuva -
ttena tattvanigamo bhaviṣyati . 265 .

Anvaya

इमम्imam
This
उक्तम् अर्थम्uktam artham
message (of oneness of Atman and Brahman) which has been told
आत्मनिātmani
in yourself
स्वयं भावयेत्svayaṃ bhāvayet
has to be contemplated by yourself
प्रथित–युक्तिभिःprathita–yuktibhiḥ
by the well known reasoning (from the scriptures)
धियाdhiyā
with (a pure) mind
तेनtena
by that
तत्त्व–निगमःtattva–nigamaḥ
the finding of truth
संशयादि–रहितंsaṃśayādi–rahitaṃ
devoid of doubt etc
कर–अम्बुवत्kara–ambuvat
like water in your palm
भविष्यतिbhaviṣyati
will happen

Translation

This message (of oneness of Brahman and Atman), told above, has to be contemplated in yourself with the help of the reasoning from scriptures and by a pure mind. By that, the finding of truth, devoid of doubt etc., will happen like water in your palm.

Annotation

“Well known reasoning” – refers to the arguments provided in the scriptures (Jagadguru).
