Shloka

निरस्तमायाकृतसर्वभेदं
नित्यं ध्रुवं निष्कलमप्रमेयम् ।
अरूपमव्यक्तमनाख्यमव्ययं
ज्योतिः स्वयं किञ्चिदिदं चकास्ति ॥ २४० ॥

nirastamāyākṛtasarvabhedaṃ
nityaṃ dhruvaṃ niṣkalamaprameyam ;
arūpamavyaktamanākhyamavyayaṃ
jyotiḥ svayaṃ kiñcididaṃ cakāsti . 240 .

Anvaya

निरस्त–माया–कृत–सर्व–भेदंnirasta–māyā–kṛta–sarva–bhedaṃ
(Brahman is) that in which all the distinctions caused by māyā have been negated
नित्यंnityaṃ
eternal
ध्रुवंंdhruvaṃṃ
unchanging
निष्कलम्niṣkalam
having no parts in it
अप्रमेयम्aprameyam
beyond the senses and mind
अरूपम्arūpam

shines

Translation

Brahman in which all the distinctions (duality) caused by māyā are negated. It is eternal and unchanging. It is partless and beyond cognition of senses and mind. It is formless, unmanifest nameless, undecaying (immutable) and self–luminous. Such inexplicable Brahman shines.

Annotation

nityaṃ – Eternal because it has no beginning and end. anākhyam – nameless – an object should belong to a class or have some characteristics or action or relationship if a name were to be given. Brahman does not have any of these. Hence It is nameless. cakāsti – shines – means that it is known as the very Self (Jagadguru).
