Translation
Brahman is of the nature of pure existence. All this universe, which is Its effect, is always Brahman alone. Nothing exists beyond That (Brahman). A person who asserts that something exists (apart from Brahman) merely blabbers like a dreaming person. His ignorance has not departed.
Annotation
Pots etc., which are the effects of clay are real only as modifications of clay and not independently real. Similarly the universe is real as Brahman and not as real in itself (Jagadguru).
