आत्म–अनात्म–विवेकःātma–anātma–vivekaḥ

The discrimination of the Self and non–self

कर्तव्यःkartavyaḥ

has to be done

विदुषाviduṣā

by the intelligent seeker

बन्ध–मुक्तयेbandha–muktaye

for release from bondage

तेन एवtena eva

by that alone

आनन्दी भवतिānandī bhavati

he becomes happy

स्वं विज्ञायsvaṃ vijñāya

having known himself (to be)

सत्–चित्–आनन्दम्sat–cit–ānandam

existence, consciousness and bliss
