Shloka

पञ्चानामपि कोशानामपवादे विभात्ययं शुद्धः ।नित्यानन्दैकरसः प्रत्यग्रूपः परः स्वयञ्ज्योतिः ॥ १५३ ॥

pañcānāmapi kośānāmapavāde vibhātyayaṃ śuddhaḥ ;nityānandaikarasaḥ pratyagrūpaḥ paraḥ svayañjyotiḥ . 153 .

Translation

On the negation of all the five sheaths, shines the Atman – which is pure, which is of the nature of eternal bliss, which is (also) the inner–most Self and which is self–luminous.

Annotation

1) ‘Which is of the nature of eternal bliss’ – means the Atman which does not have origin or end and which is of the nature of bliss unmixed with pain. 2) ‘Self–luminous’ – is the knower of all. 3) ‘Shines’ – means that it is realised by the seeker as different from the non–self (Jagadguru).
