तच्छैवालापनये सम्यक्सलिलं प्रतीयते शुद्धम् ।तृष्णासन्तापहरं सद्यः सौख्यप्रदं परं पुंसः ॥ १५२ ॥

tacchaivālāpanaye samyaksalilaṃ pratīyate śuddham ;tṛṣṇāsantāpaharaṃ sadyaḥ saukhyapradaṃ paraṃ puṃsaḥ . 152 .

तत् शैवाल–अपनयेtat śaivāla–apanaye
On the removal of that moss
सम्यक्samyak
very well (without obstacles)
शुद्धम्śuddham
pure
सलिलम् प्रतीयतेsalilam pratīyate
water is seen
तृष्णा–सन्ताप–हरंtṛṣṇā–santāpa–haraṃ
that which dispels the pangs of thirst
सद्यःsadyaḥ
immediate
सौख्य–प्रदंsaukhya–pradaṃ
giver of happiness
परंparaṃ
supreme
पुंसाम्puṃsām
for the seekers

Translation

On the removal of such moss, pure water – which dispels the pangs of thirst and which is the immediate giver of supreme happiness to the person – is very clearly seen.
