Shloka

अहङ्कारादिदेहान्ता विषयाश्च सुखादयः ।वेद्यन्ते घटवद्येन नित्यबोधस्वरूपिणा ॥ १३२ ॥

ahaṅkārādidehāntā viṣayāśca sukhādayaḥ ;vedyante ghaṭavadyena nityabodhasvarūpiṇā . 132 .

Anvaya

येनyena
By which
नित्य–बोध–स्वरूपिणाnitya–bodha–svarūpiṇā
who is of the nature of eternal consciousness
वेद्यन्तेvedyante
are known
अहङ्कार–आदि–देहान्ताःahaṅkāra–ādi–dehāntāḥ
all (sheaths) from ego to the body
विषयाः चviṣayāḥ ca
and the sense objects
सुखादयःsukhādayaḥ
such as happiness
घट–वद्ghaṭa–vad
like a pot (a knowable object)

Translation

By Atman, which is of the nature of eternal consciousness, are known –like a pot – all (sheaths) starting from the ego to the body, all the sense objects and experiences such as happiness.

Annotation

Atman is the knower and all else such as the ego and other sheaths are the objectifiable things. Happiness etc., are not the properties of the knower but they are the properties of the body–mind–complex (Jagadguru).
