known as the causal body

आत्मनःātmanaḥ

of the Atman

सुषुप्तिःsuṣuptiḥ

Deep sleep

एतस्यetasya

विभक्ति–अवस्थाvibhakti–avasthā

is the differentiating state

प्रलीन–सर्वेन्द्रिय–बुद्धि–वृत्तिःpralīna–sarvendriya–buddhi–vṛttiḥ

in which all the activities of senses and modifications of mind are withdrawn
