Translation

The realised person moves alone, enjoying whatever food he wants, assuming whatever forms he wants, reveling in his own self and staying as the Self of all.

Annotation

The fact that Atman is one in all the beings is being demonstrated here. The realised person is in his own self and he is also the Self of all. He is said to enjoy all desires because all the enjoyment of all the people in the world is his own. The Taittiriya Upanishad (2–1) says that ‘the knower of Brahman, in identification with Brahman, enjoys all things simultaneously’. All the loka–s, the worlds such as heaven are visualised in that Supreme Brahman and hence the realised person is said to be in all forms.
