Translation

Apart from robustness of pramāṇa, what more condition is needed to know – ‘this is the pot’? Knowledge of an object is certain when such pramāṇa exists.

Annotation

A healthy eye is the means of valid knowledge (pramāṇa) to know the pot in front of us. No other pramāṇa is needed. Similarly, in the case of realisation of self as Brahman, the scripture, the teaching of the guru and one’s own experience constitute the pramāṇa and no further pramāṇa is needed.
