Translation

Forcefully give up your absorption, aroused by the ego, in the sack of filth (the gross body). Thereafter give up attention on the subtle body which is as good as thin air. Having known your self as of eternal and blissful nature, whose fame is praised by the scriptures, remain in the form of Brahman.

Annotation

It is difficult to give up identification with the subtle body. Hence, as the first step, one has to give up attachment with the gross body. The scriptures too (Tai.Up) suggest how the food sheath has to be resolved first, followed by the vital sheath, later by the mind sheath and so on. The seeker realises that the five sheaths are not the real Self (Jagadguru).
