Translation
By constantly staying in one’s own Self (in Brahman), the mind of the yogi ceases to exist and thereafter the cessation of latent tendencies happens. Hence negate the false superimposition existing in your mind.
Annotation
1) Yogi – refers to a person who has overcome the rajasa and tamasa tendencies. 2) ‘In one’s Self’ – means in Brahman. 3) Cessation of tendencies – emotions like love, hate etc., will cease to manifest even when there is an external stimulus. Tendency is a predisposition of the mind which causes love, hate etc., without proper consideration. 4) ‘Negate false superimposition’ – means give up the notion of the Self in the five sheaths, the body–mind–complex (Jagadguru).
