Shloka

विशोक आनन्दघनो विपश्चि -
त्स्वयं कुतश्चिन्न बिभेति कश्चित् ।
नान्योऽस्ति पन्था भवबन्धमुक्ते -
र्विना स्वतत्त्वावगमं मुमुक्षोः ॥ २२४ ॥

viśoka ānandaghano vipaści -
tsvayaṃ kutaścinna bibheti kaścit ;
nānyo’sti panthā bhavabandhamukte -
rvinā svatattvāvagamaṃ mumukṣoḥ . 224 .

Anvaya

विपश्चित्vipaścit
The knower (becomes)
विशोकःviśokaḥ
free from grief
आनन्द–घनःānanda–ghanaḥ
undifferentiated bliss
स्वयंsvayaṃ

कुतश्चित्kutaścit

न बिभेतिna bibheti

भव–बन्ध–मुक्तेःbhava–bandha–mukteḥ
for release from the bondage of existence

स्व–तत्त्व–अवगमम्sva–tattva–avagamam
realisation of one’s own nature

Translation

The realised person becomes free from grief and stays as undifferentiated bliss, not having fear of anything. For a seeker there exists no other path for release from the bondage of existence except realisation of one’s own nature.
