Shloka

सुषुप्तिकाले मनसि प्रलीने
नैवास्ति किञ्चित्सकलप्रसिद्धेः ।
अतो मनःकल्पित एव पुंसः
संसार एतस्य न वस्तुतोऽस्ति ॥ १७३ ॥

suṣuptikāle manasi pralīne
naivāsti kiñcitsakalaprasiddheḥ ;
ato manaḥkalpita eva puṃsaḥ
saṃsāra etasya na vastuto’sti . 173 .

Anvaya

सुषुप्ति–कालेsuṣupti–kāle
During deep sleep
मनसि प्रलीनेmanasi pralīne
when the mind is withdrawn
नैव–अस्ति किञ्चित्naiva–asti kiñcit
nothing whatsoever exists
सकल–प्रसिद्धेःsakala–prasiddheḥ
as is well known to all
अतःataḥ
hence
एतस्य पुंसःetasya puṃsaḥ
for this person
संसारःsaṃsāraḥ
the bondage of transmigration
मनः–कल्पित एवmanaḥ–kalpita eva
it is merely a projection of the mind
न वस्तुतः अस्तिna vastutaḥ asti
does not exist in reality

Translation

During deep sleep when the mind is withdrawn (into its causal state), nothing exists whatsoever, as is well known to all. Hence the bondage of transmigration for this seeker is merely a projection of the mind, not existing in reality.

Annotation

The world exists when the mind is present in waking and dream states and does not exist in deep sleep when mind is withdrawn. Hence by anvaya–vyatireka (the principle of positive and negative assertion) the mind is the cause for the phenomenal world (Jagadguru).
