Shloka

पाणिपादादिमान्देहो नात्मा व्यङ्गेऽपि जीवनात् ।तत्तच्छक्तेरनाशाच्च न नियम्यो नियामकः ॥ १५८ ॥

pāṇipādādimāndeho nātmā vyaṅge’pi jīvanāt ;tattacchakteranāśācca na niyamyo niyāmakaḥ . 158 .

Anvaya

देहःdehaḥ
The body
पाणि–पादादिमान्pāṇi–pādādimān
consists of limbs such as hands and feet
न आत्माna ātmā
it cannot be the Atman
व्यङ्गे अपि जीवनात्vyaṅge api jīvanāt
because even the disabled live
तत्–तत्–शक्तेः अनाशात् चtat–tat–śakteḥ anāśāt ca
and also because the respective faculties have not disappeared
न नियामकःna niyāmakaḥ
not the controller
नियम्यःniyamyaḥ
(but) the controlled

Translation

The body consists of limbs such as hands and feet and hence not the Atman. Even the disabled live because the sense faculties have not disappeared. This body is not the controller but the controlled.
