न जायते नो म्रियते न वर्धते न क्षीयते नो विकरोति नित्यः । विलीयमानेऽपि वपुष्यमुष्मि - न्न लीयते कुम्भ इवाम्बरं स्वयम् ॥ १३६ ॥

Translation
The Atman is not born, does not die, does not grow, does not decay, does not cause change and it is eternal. It does not die even while the body gets resolved (dies). It is unaffected like the space when the pot breaks.
Annotation
1) The six changes which all objects undergo are described by Yaska. Atman does not have such changes. 2) As it has no origin it has no subsequent modifications. 3) The pot space is not affected when the pot breaks (Jagadguru).
